Golf But Louder

We teamed up for the 10th year of Big Freeze for FightMND with an intergraded campaign that challenged Australians to let their actions speak louder than their words. Delivered brand strategy, national TVC, brand identity, OOH, retail and digital. 

After LIV Golf’s breakthrough arrival on the global sporting landscape, the stage was set for its inaugural year as a league in 2023. A milestone on the league’s global calendar was LIV Golf Adelaide: LIV Golf’s maiden Australian tournament, and the first time it’s ‘GOLF, BUT LOUDER’ format would be played in the Southern Hemisphere.

 

Wildcard was recruited to lead the PR and Communications strategy for LIV Golf Adelaide 2023, which was anchored by three clear objectives: present a golf event like no other, mobilise interstate sports fans to attend, and showcase South Australia’s destinations to LIV Golf’s global audience.

Golf But Louder

We celebrated hard working Aussies by creating an on-pack retail campaign that rewarded 30 classic nicknames. Delivered across 1m+ cases of VB nationally, and supported with retail, content, OOH, digital and social.

With only four months to execute, we rolled-out a number of tactical executions including crafty media families, strategically-placed event announcements and nimble player media windows to tell the LIV Golf story, which secured nearly 4,000 media hits nationally (highlights including a feature on The Betoota Advocate, front and back pages of The Adelaide Advertiser every day, not to mention a SOLD-OUT event) and carved out a new place for LIV Golf Adelaide on Australia’s blockbuster calendar of major sporting events.
